We are proud to announce that we are temporarily managing the De Klokkenhof building complex on Surinameplein in Amsterdam in collaboration with Vesteda.

Vesteda, in collaboration with Lingotto, has plans for the redevelopment of the Klokkenhof building complex on Surinameplein in Amsterdam. The buildings of the Klokkenhof are in need of renovation. In addition, there is a need for more homes in the mid-rental segment. The current ensemble consists of 5 buildings, containing 168 social rental homes.

Until the start of the work, Alvast will rent out the vacant properties under the Vacancy Law. This allows the properties to be used for as long as possible, ensuring that no space remains unused during times of a housing crisis.

Tobit Elling, Regional Manager Alvast North-West: “We are proud to be able to kick off this wonderful collaboration at such a beautiful location in our capital. It is great that Vesteda gives ALvast the confidence to manage the homes in a high-quality manner. We look forward to helping residents find their own place and in this way treating vacancy as it should be; by giving substance to it as long as possible.”
