Two other entrepreneurs are located in the old ROC building. There are no formal agreements about keeping the common areas clean. UpgradersInArtArnhem takes their responsibility in this. “We do this because we also have the most students,” says one of the coordinators.

There is no longer any heating in the former ROC building. UpgradersInArtArnhem has come up with a solution for this. “We heat our rooms with three electric heaters and one kerosene heater. That is doable,” says one of the coordinators. Although it may not be the most optimal solution, it meets the need and provides a pleasant working environment, especially during the colder months.

According to the founders of UpgradersInArtArnhem, this location is the best they have ever had. That's a lot, considering they've already been to seven other places. The combination of space, flexibility and the opportunity to exhibit and discuss art makes this the ideal place for them.
